That was the week that was

Welcome back people :)

A steady week for me in that thing we call ''the real world''.

Work has been steady with day shifts which meant that I was able to cycle into work on Saturday.  However the cycle home at just after 6pm was in that dusky light and, despite my high viz jacket and flashing rear light, I didn't feel too safe. Thankfully the clocks are changing this weekend so cycling to and from work will feature more often - back permitting. When I got home I was walking around like Mrs Apron (remember her?)



So will have to see how it goes......

On Sunday I got up extra early and did 50 minutes cardio in the gym before my shift started - go me!

Foodwise I've been on track and eating healthily with porridge based breakfasts, ryvitas for lunch and home cooked, calorie counted meals for dinner.

I think, therefore, that I have every reason to feel a bit miffed at today's official weigh in - down a mere 0.75lb. I'm putting it down to 'one of those things' and keeping with the programme.

Plans for the coming week....

* keep on drinking water
* keep on logging my food
* keep on exercising, making it varied from cycling, to running, to weights.

That will do for now methinks :)
